What Is Sheet Lining?
Sheet lining is a fluororesin lining process in which sheets made of PTFE, PFA, or other fluoropolymers are applied to the interior surfaces of metal equipment such as tanks, reactors, columns, and piping systems. This method allows for thicker linings compared to many other fluororesin lining techniques, resulting in superior corrosion resistance and extended service life. The linings are fabricated using specialized fusion welding and forming technology, with sheets available in thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 4.7mm (60 mil to 180 mil).
